Here you can find my shower thoughts, bedtime ruminations, existential quandaries, spiritual predicaments, cultural commentaries, and everything both beyond and in-between. It is my intention to use this blog not only as a way to share who I am, but also my exploration of the intersection of nerdom, queerness, and spirituality.

I’m twenty-three years old, a Postulant for Holy Orders (specifically, the priesthood) in the Episcopal Diocese of California, a Volunteer Chaplain at Washington Hospital in Fremont, and the Interim Treasurer for the Stanford Canterbury Chaplaincy at Stanford University.

I’m a first-generation Filipino-American, having been born in the Philippines but immigrating to the United States by the age of two. For the vast majority of my life, I have called the East Bay Area home. In growing to embrace my identity as a queer man and diasporic Filipino, I moved beyond the deeply rooted Catholicism I was raised in and became an Episcopalian/Anglican—knowing that questions are more vital than answers, and that the heart of the Gospel is the expansive, liberating, and affirming love of God.
